Two important things to note. (1) These expressions do not truly depict his emotions. He is VERY excited to be finished with school. Apparently he just didn't feel like smiling this morning. (2) Looking at the molding on the closet door, look how much he has GROWN! :)

He is taller! That's the first thing I noticed. You should keep doing these first day / last day photos. I like it!

Little boys should NOT be allowed to grow like weeds the way they do. It makes me sad!! Such big boys!! I actually saw 'E' (what I've always heard Richard call him) at the Farmer's Market with your Mama yesterday. He is the cutest. and tall. *hugs*
